Climeo asks for your CV, which is personal data. This page says exactly what happens to it. It describes what the product does today, not what it might do later.
What we do with your CV
When you upload a CV, it is sent to our server, read, analysed and improved, and the result is sent back to your browser. That is the whole of it. The file and its contents are held only in memory for the length of that request and are not written to any database or file store we operate.
Where your work is kept
So that refreshing the page does not lose your progress, your parsed CV, its analysis and its improved version are saved in your own browser using session storage. That data stays on your device. It is not sent anywhere, it is not readable by us, and it is discarded when you close the tab or press “Start over”.
If you are on a shared or public computer, close the tab when you are finished.
What we measure
We record technical diagnostics so we can tell whether the product is working: how long each step took, how many findings and suggestions were produced, and the error code when something fails. These records contain no part of your CV, no file name, no name, no email address and no identifier for you.
Each visit is given a random reference so we can tell whether a single pass through the product completed. It is created when you choose a file, is never stored on your device, and is not connected to you or to any earlier visit.
We also use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure loading performance. These are configured without cookies and do not track you across other websites.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your CV.
- We do not use your CV to train any model.
- We do not require an account, and we do not ask for a password.
- We do not set advertising or tracking cookies.
Who else is involved
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests on our behalf and keeps standard server logs. Analysis and improvement run on our own server using fixed rules; no third-party AI provider receives your CV.
Your rights
Because we do not store your CV or hold an account for you, there is normally nothing for us to retrieve, correct or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, or you have any question about this policy, email hello@climeo.app and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what happens to your CV, we will update the date at the top of this page.
